Independent American game publisher and web gaming portal operator based in Irvine, California, founded in October 2005 by Daniel McNeely as Armor Games (originally a browser games portal); the Armor Games Studios publishing brand launched ~2016. Publishes indie games on PC, consoles, mobile and VR. In late July 2024 the company reportedly eliminated its entire publishing team per ex-staff accounts (Game Developer, Aug 1 2024), but publishing activity continued afterwards: Shift Legacy Collection (Aug 2024), Signy & Mino (Nov 10 2025), Warfare Legacy Collection (2026) and the Dino Time Raiders demo (2026); the armorgames.com browser portal remains active with 1000+ HTML5 games.
